Petrographic International Pty Ltd has been operating since 2007 (prior to this was known as Petrographic Technical Services (PTS)). Our technicians have over 30 years of experience.
Our principal goal is to give our clients the best thin sections possible using up-to-date techniques and state of the art equipment.
We are a complete sample preparation laboratory, with the knowledge and skill to properly service your thin section needs.
Peter Colls - Laboratory Manager
Peter has in excess of 30 years experience running sample preparation laboratories. Prior to joining Petrographic International, two years ago, Peter managed the University of Queensland Earth Science Sample Preparation Laboratory.
Peter has extensive experience in handling soil, sand, aggregate, hand specimens, concrete, fossils and plant materials.
